JOHNNY FLYNN NEWS (finally!)

Johnny Flynn released his last (proper) album in 2010, and he did his first London concert in two years earlier this month, so some new material is long overdue.

For weeks the people at Johnny Flynn HQ have been saying that a 'big announcement' was due, and they sure didn't disappoint - this morning on his Facebook page, it emerged that he's added a bunch of dates to his worldwide tour, announced the title of his third album 'Country Mile' (which is now available to pre-order online) and if all that wasn't enough, he's released a new song!

It's called 'The Lady is Risen', and it's a sweet tune for long country drives.

I've managed to snap up some pre-order tickets for his concert at Hackney Empire, but if you want to go then you'd better get in there quick - his last concert sold out within an hour!
