Recently, I received a free download of the recent BBC adaptation of Ford Madox Ford's Parade End (of course, me beginning to watch it had NOTHING to do with the fact that Benedict Cumberbatch plays the lead role...)

So far I've only watched the first episode, but if the whole series continues this way, with characters you really feel for, a unusually complex love triangle and beautiful, movie-like cinematography, it should be a really great series. And with a first episode this good and a cast that includes Rebecca Hall, Roger Allam, Rupert Everett and newcomer Adelaide Clemens (who is set to star in Baz Luhrman's Great Gatsby later this year), how could it possibly fail?
