MY LIFE: REGRETS COLLECT LIKE OLD FRIENDS

>>THIS POST NEEDS SOME CAPITAL LETTERS BECAUSE YESTERDAY I SAW FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE LIVE AT THE 02.
It started off with everybody sitting down and i was like shit this is gonna be dead and i'll be the only person dancing but then her more upbeat tracks like 'shake it out', 'lover to lover' and 'rabbit heart' (where she did the infamous routine of making the entire stadium jump simultaneously) came on and neither love nor money could get me to sit down as i screeched along to all of her songs.
Sure, it was clear that half of the stadium were only there for 'you've got the love' and 'spectrum', and they didn't really appreciate the support acts enough (HAIM AND THE MACCABEES? IT WAS LIKE AN UNBELIEVABLE DREAM) but florence's performance was completely flawless - she effortlessly entertained thousands of people, and her stage presence is so adorable that you couldn't help but fall in love with her a little bit. By the time she closed, with an entrancing encore of an acoustic version of the Calvin Harris produced 'Sweet Nothing', my mother's personal favourite 'spectrum (say my name)' and, as a closer, 'dog days are over'.

If you like some of Florence and the machine's music, see her live.
If you've only heard one song of hers, see her live.
...even if you don't like her, see her live, and her stage presence and voice so strong that it equals legends like Whitney and Barbra, Florence is not somebody who is going to fade out of the public eye in a hurry.
